The social and financial support services provide support,
help and guidance in all social and financial problems.
Social services provide support, help and guidance for
various crises in life. The purpose of social support is to
encourage customers to take responsibility and show
initiative in their own life. Financial support services
provide the minimum income to all residents. They also offer
financial and debt counselling.
Income benefit is a last resort which guarantees the
minimum income in situations where the person’s or family’s
income and assets are not enough to cover everyday living
expenses. You can apply for income benefit if none of the
other means of social support, such as unemployment benefit,
housing benefit, student loan or maintenance support, are
enough to guarantee minimum income.
